Online Teleprompter — Free Scrolling Script With Camera
Look into the camera and deliver your lines smoothly. UtilHub's free online teleprompter scrolls your script at a steady pace while you read it at eye level, so videos, presentations, livestreams, and speeches sound natural instead of memorized. Paste your script, set the scrolling speed, text size, and width, and follow the red reading line to keep your place. Mirror the text for beam-splitter teleprompter glass, go fullscreen on a laptop or tablet, and control everything from the keyboard. Turn on your camera to see yourself behind the text and record the video straight to your device — no app, no account, and no upload.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I use a teleprompter on my laptop?
Paste your script, press F for fullscreen, and make the text narrower with the Width slider so your eyes move less. Sit so the red reading line is close to your webcam at the top of the screen. Press Space to start and read at the line — viewers will see you looking almost straight at the camera.
What speed should a teleprompter run at?
Most people speak at 130 to 160 words per minute. Start at speed 4 or 5, do a practice read, and adjust with the up and down arrow keys until the line you are reading stays near the red guide. Speed scales with text size, so changing the size keeps roughly the same number of lines per minute.
Can I record myself while reading the script?
Yes. Press Camera on, allow camera and microphone access, and press Record video. The script starts scrolling as recording begins; press Stop & save to download the video. The recording contains your camera and voice only — the script text is not part of the video.
What is mirror mode for?
Professional teleprompters reflect the screen in angled glass in front of the camera lens, which flips the image. Mirror mode reverses the text so it reads correctly in the reflection. You do not need it when reading directly from your screen.
