1. Overview

UtilHub.io is built so that the files and text you use in our tools stay on your device. The tools run in your browser, and what you open, type, or paste into them is not uploaded to our servers. This policy explains the limited information collected when you visit the site — mainly by analytics and advertising services — and the choices you have.

2. Files and Text You Use in the Tools

We do not receive, store, or have access to:

• Files you open or convert (images, PDFs, documents, audio, and video)
• Text you enter into any tool (JSON, code, passwords, and so on)
• Results the tools generate (hashes, converted files, calculations, and so on)

Some tools download components they need the first time you use them. The AI tools — such as the Background Remover, Blur Background, Image Upscaler, and Audio to Text — download open-source models from Hugging Face and the engine that runs them from the jsDelivr content network. These are ordinary web requests that reveal your IP address to those providers, but your files are never sent with them.

The Text to Speech tool uses the voices built into your browser. Some of them are cloud voices run by your browser's maker (for example Google in Chrome or Microsoft in Edge), which receive the text they read aloud. The tool marks which voices are cloud voices and which run on your device, so you can keep the text local.

Tools that use your camera, microphone, or screen — such as the QR Code Scanner, Voice Recorder, and Screen Recorder — ask your browser for permission first and process what they capture on your device.

3. Information Collected Automatically

Hosting and security

Our hosting and content delivery providers, including Cloudflare, process technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — for example, which tools are popular and which pages have problems. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as the pages you visit, your approximate location, your device and browser type, and the site that referred you. We look at this information only in aggregate. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Google Analytics Advertising Features

We use Google signals, a Google Analytics Advertising Feature, and Demographics and Interests reporting. If you are signed in to a Google Account and have turned on ads personalization, Google associates the data Google Analytics collects on this site with information from your Google Account. We use this only to see aggregated, anonymous reports — for example, the general age range and interests of our visitors and how people move between devices. These reports never tell us who you are, and we do not send Google information that personally identifies you.

For this reporting, and to measure and serve ads, we and third-party vendors, including Google, use first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookie) or other first-party identifiers and third-party cookies (such as Google advertising cookies) or other third-party identifiers together.

You can opt out of Google Analytics Advertising Features and personalized ads in Google Ads Settings, or in the Ads Settings of your mobile device for apps. You can review or delete the activity saved to your Google Account in My Activity, and block Google Analytics entirely with the opt-out add-on above.

4. Advertising

UtilHub.io is kept free by advertising served through Google AdSense.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info or, in Europe, www.youronlinechoices.eu.

If you opt out of personalized advertising, you may still see ads, but they will be based on the content of the page rather than your browsing history. Ads may also be served by third-party vendors certified by Google. To learn more, see how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Advertisers never receive the files or text you process in our tools.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

UtilHub's own code does not set cookies. Cookies may be set by Google Analytics and by Google's advertising services — for example, to measure visits, limit how often you see the same ad, and show personalized ads where you have allowed it.

UtilHub uses your browser's local storage — which stays on your device and is never sent to us — to remember:

• the tools you opened recently (the Recent menu) and whether you dismissed the offer to install a tool as an app;
• work you may want to come back to in some tools, such as an invoice or résumé draft, saved signatures, a teleprompter script, spin-the-wheel lists, and metronome or stopwatch settings;
• the history of links you built in the UTM Builder and codes you scanned with the QR Code Scanner, which you can turn off or clear in those tools.

The site also uses a service worker and your browser's cache to keep copies of site files and of AI models you have downloaded, so pages load faster and installed tools work offline. None of this is sent to us.

You can clear all of it, and block or delete cookies, in your browser's settings for this site. The tools keep working without cookies.

6. Consent in Europe, the UK, and Switzerland

For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, analytics and advertising cookies are turned off by default. They are used only after you agree through a Google-certified consent message, where you can also change or withdraw your choice later.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Because the tools do not send us your files or text, we hold very little personal data — usually only the emails you send us. Depending on where you live, for example under the GDPR in Europe or state privacy laws in the United States, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data and to object to certain processing. Contact us to use these rights. Information collected by Google is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

8. Data Retention

Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to respond and for our records. Analytics data is kept in aggregated form according to our Google Analytics data retention setting.

9. Children's Privacy

UtilHub.io is a general-audience site and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Third-Party Links

Some pages link to external websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices or content, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are shown by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. See also our Terms of Service.
